NJONJI ANNETTE
Coordinator of Women and Development Affairs
Njonji Annette is a Cameroonian by birth. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Law and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Human Rights from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. Her strong belief in gender equality and women’s empowerment led her to take on the role of Coordinator of Women and Development at CEPOW Cameroon for over a year. She also serves as a Para-legal for a law firm in North West Region, Bamenda. As a passionate youth advocate, she has directed a lot of her efforts towards promoting women’s rights and integrate women into development initiatives.
One of Annette’s most impactful achievements was the We Go Vegan Project, where she facilitated and promoted vegan healthy feeding practices among girl children in the North West Region of Cameroon. In addition to her work, Annette also served as the project lead for the Regenerative Agriculture Project. By Collaborating with 50 women, she is aimed to restore sustainable farming practices that prioritize long-term soil fertility and promote healthy food systems.
Her mission is to continue gaining knowledge and experience to effectively advocate for a healthier planet where women are empowered and inclusively participate in nation building affairs. Annette’s journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to environmental protection, gender equality, and sustainable development.
